New Website – 151 Ocean View

151 Ocean View is a Seafood Bar & Grill based in Oneroa, on beautiful Waiheke Island.  Comprising a restaurant, takeaway and magnificent seaviews from the outside seating area, the establishment offers locals and tourists an awesome dining experience.  The place is always busy and the food always delicious and that makes for an awesome customer experience too.

The owner of the restaurant contacted Purple Dog to seek advice on how best to market the establishment on the internet.  Our recommendation was to create a website that would offer a quick and easy visual experience of the cuisine and the views.

Food Images You want To Eat

A small but not too difficult challenge was how to best capture the views.  The customer had some good photos of the premises, but none that really caught the imagination.  So we offered the services of our favourite photographer, Gabe Braly of Island Photography (Waiheke) – who came along and took some stunning shots.

Along with the great imagery, the customer also wanted a news page that would be straight-forward and easy to keep up to date and make announcements on.  We combined this with an email newsletter sign up form to enable the client to begin building a customer database.  Along with the usual pages and text, we then added downloadable menus so that the visitor could view print or save them.  Finally, we included an online booking / contact form and a review section where visitors can leave feedback about their experiences.
