How do I update my email settings?

If you need to update your settings - for example, because of a server change, you will probably need to update your email client software (e.g Outlook) settings to communicate with the Purple Dog server.

To do this, you will need to modify the settings in your email client software.

If you don't see your email client software in the list above, or you would like the manual settings, here are some generic SSL settings that should work (if in doubt, please contact us):

Username:    [email protected]
Password:     the password set up for the email account
Incoming Server:     mail.yourdomain.co.nz
  • IMAP Port: 993
  • POP3 Port: 995

Outgoing Server:     mail.yourdomain.co.nz
  • SMTP Port: 465

IMAP, POP3, and SMTP require authentication.
