How do I delete emails from the server?

If you have received a disk space warning, this means that you are approaching the maximum space allocation for your webhosting account.

You should rectify this as soon as possible to avoid service disruption, as when your disk allocation is full, you will not be able to send or receive emails.

To rectify this situation, you can do one of the 2 following actions

1) login to your cpanel account and remove some files

2) ask us to upgrade your account to increase disk space.

To perform (1) above, visit this link to view the file usage on the disk and take appropriate action (replace mydomain.com with your own)
http://www.example.com:2082/frontend/rvviolet/diskusage/index.html

This will provide a disk usage breakdown for the account.  If you scroll down the page, you can see a further file tree.

9 times out of 10, email is the culprit and you will see which account needs to be looked into.

Clicking on the tree + sign will expand the information so that you can see which folders on the server are taking up the most space.

Often it is the sent or draft folders that can be cleaned.

Clciking on the folder name will open a new window in the File Manger screen.  Here you can delete the individual emails / and or all the emails (take a close look at the CUR (stands for current) folder - that's where you will find the individual files.

Be warned that once you delete the files, they are deleted from the server, though we do store backups for 3 days (charges apply to restore these)
