In order to help you set up email on your Apple product, please choose from the below;

1) All of my email are routing through Gmail.
This option is for those users who have all of their email routed through Gmail.  For example, if you currently have emails forwarded from the Purple Dog server to your Gmail account / or if you log in to Gmail to send / receive emails, then read on - otherwise skip to option 2 below.

To set up Gmail on your Apple device, the best method is simply to download the Gmail app from the Apple store: https://itunes.apple.com/app/gmail/id422689480 and follow the set up wizard.  By doing this, you should not need to set up email accounts through the native device (below).


2) I would like individual email accounts set up on my Apple product.

If you have one or more email accounts that you want to connect to via the in-built native "mail" app on your Apple device, please check the article on Apple's website here: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4810

Tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Under accounts, tap Add Account.

You will need to select "Other" in the email set up list, then follow the instructions as detailed here:

Please note that using this option with POP settings may mean that your email is inaccessible on any other device (e.g. your office computer).  We recommend that you use IMAP instead (see what's the difference between POP and IMAP for more info)
