The following information relates to the transfer of ownership from one client to another and is intended for clients who have sold / transferred / merged their business, or who are planning to do so - and also for the potential new owners.

Each client account must have a nominated person (Account Owner) who has full authority on the account to make changes such as:
- changes to domain names (e.g. redirect a domain to a different server / site)
- order new products / services
- cancel existing products / services
- modify existing products / services
- modify account details
- pay for products / services
For the avoidance of any doubt, our relationship and contract is solely with the currently registered named owner of the business (Account Owner). Since the account ownership will be changing, the incoming new owner will need to register for a new account with us, to take over as the Account Owner. The incoming new owner is required to register with us so that we can capture the new owner's full details and ensure that they are aware of, and agree to, our Terms of Service. Once the incoming new owner has completed their new account registration, we will merge / transfer the account / products / services as appropriate and we will be happy to discuss any changes or modifications that may be required (charges may apply). We are sorry, but due to privacy laws, we are not able to divulge any account information to non-registered persons, or persons who are not authorised on the existing account. We are happy to advise publicised services and rates, however, if you need specific information on current costs and services that we are providing, you will need to seek these from the current Account Owner.
If during an account changeover, service payments become due, it will be the responsibility of the new incoming owner to ensure that payments have been made by the previous owner or that payments will be received by Us in a timely manner. We are not responsible for "chasing" previous or new customer's for payment and where payments are not received, services may be liable to suspension or termination, as per our terms and conditions.
To avoid any issues, we recommend that the out-going owner contact us prior to the business sale / change of ownership, to advise us of what's happening. We also recommend the new incoming owner make contact with us as soon as possible in order to prevent any possible service disruption.
Change of ownership administration can take up to 5 working days and we reserve the right to charge for more than one hour spent administrating such account changes.
