Internal Server Error

Generic Information
If you are experiencing a website loading error please check the following;

1) Can you browse to another website e.g. google.com?  If not, is your internet connection down?

2) Has your domain name or webhosting been changed or updated recently?  If so, click here to read about this.

3) Have any changes been made to your website or in the last 24 hours (e.g. an upgrade)? If so, please open a support ticket so that we may investigate any possible errors.

---

Our high performance servers are designed to provide maximum resources to each client.  However, just like cars must share the road, clients must also share certain server resources. If your website exceeds a given resource limit, the website will be slowed down temporarily, or be limited which may lead to error pages. This is to ensure that high resource usage does not cause stability issues to websites of other customers.

If you see any of the following issues, you can try refreshing the page after 1 minute.  If that does not clear the error, you should open a support ticket so that we may investigate further.

i. 500 Internal Server Error
============================
500 Internal Server Error is an indication that your website is hit by memory limit configured in the server. Try refreshing the page after one minute.

ii. 503 Error
===========
If your website hits "maximum number of concurrent connections allowed", your website will show this error. Try refreshing the page after one minute.

iii. 508 Resource Limit Is Reached
================================
This error is an indication that website is continuously hitting the resources limits in the server. Reason for this error may be CPU usage, RAM usage and/or number of concurrent connections. If you see this error, you can login to cpanel & find out the resource limit hit by your website  by navigating to Analysis & Log Files > Resoucre Usage Overview.

What can I do if my website is hitting limits?
========================================
A resource usage spike once in a while is something you can ignore and it should not cause any major issue to your website. If the issue appears to be frequent, you should consider optimising the code of your website or upgrading to a more powerful plan.

If you have any concerns or questions, please open a support ticket so that we may discuss the options with you.
