Google Analytics Reports

Each customer site that we design has access to Google Analytics reports.

If you are a member of Club Purple, you should receive a report from us periodically, that provides an overview of your site stats.

For those who are not members of Club Purple, and for those who wish to see a detailed breakdown of the Analytics report, you can access your full report by logging into Google Analytics - however, you will need the following:

  1. You will need a Google account - we have no control over this.  If you son't have a Gmail or Google account, you can easily create a new one by siging up to Google.
  2. You will need to contact us and let us know your Gmail email address so that we can authorise you onto the Analytics account

What is a Bounce Rate

Bounce Rate is the percentage of single-page sessions (i.e. sessions in which the person left your site from the entrance page without interacting with the page).

There are a number of factors that contribute to your bounce rate. For example, users might leave your site from the entrance page if there are site design or usability issues. Alternatively, users might also leave the site after viewing a single page if they've found the information they need on that one page, and had no need or interest in going to other pages.
